  • 130 g sugar
  • 120 g butter
  • 260 g milk powder
  • 50g nuts

RECIPE PREPARATION Homemade chocolate dessert with currants and nuts:

Start with the cocoa layer. Put the water with the sugar on the fire. When it starts to boil (over medium heat) let it simmer for another 6-7 minutes until the composition looks like a syrup.

Separately sift the cocoa and milk powder. Take the syrup off the heat and add the butter and rum essence and then mix. Pour the syrup over the dry ingredients and mix well so that it does not remain lumpy. Add half of the broken walnuts and mix the composition.

Line a small tray with food-grade plastic wrap and add the chocolate, then level it and leave it to cool (not in the fridge).

To get 100 ml of currant juice we need about 300 g of currants. Wash them and put them on the fire together with 2 tablespoons of sugar. From the moment they start to boil, leave them on the fire for 10 minutes, then strain them and put them in a sieve to strain them to get as much juice as possible.

Measure 100 ml of currant juice and put it on the fire together with the 130 grams of sugar. Let it boil for 6-7 minutes and then add the butter.

Separately sift the powdered milk, then put the currant syrup over it and mix well. Add the walnuts and mix well. Pour the composition over the chocolate and let the tray cool. After 3-4 hours in the cold, it slices perfectly. Cut chocolate bars and serve.

Recipe / dessert / sweets preparation method

1 Turn on the oven 10 minutes before you start cooking. Grease a heat-resistant dish of about 1 liter with a little oil.

2 Rub the butter with the sugar until you get a light foam, add the melted chocolate, flour, instantly prepared chocolate and the egg mix well.

3 Put this composition in the heat-resistant dish and level the surface.

4 Mix 50 grams of sugar with nuts and cocoa and sprinkle the mixture over the composition in the heat-resistant dish.

5 Dissolve the remaining sugar in the coffee and pour the coffee over the cake.

6 Bake for about 50-60 minutes in the preheated oven under the cake to form a thick sauce.

7 Remove the cake from the oven, dust with sugar and serve with plenty of whipped cream.
