Wash the plums and remove the seeds, then cut into cubes and mix with the sugar. A few plums also stop for decoration.
Strain with a blender, mix with sugar and cinnamon and simmer over medium heat to reduce the syrup. Then leave to cool.
Meanwhile, prepare the dough.
Using the dough mixer, mix the flour with the egg yolk, a pinch of salt and sugar. Gradually pour the water, so as to form a firmer dough, slightly sandy and non-sticky.
The dough is wrapped in food foil and refrigerated for 20-30 minutes.
When the plum paste has cooled, mix it with the biscuit breadcrumbs.
We spread the dough in the shape of a tart greased with a little butter, but we also stop a little dough for decoration.
Our tart shape has dimensions 13/35 cm and has a detachable base.
Spread the plum composition over the dough.
We spread the stopped dough on the floured table and cut shapes with smiles from it, using special cutters.
We place the shapes with smiles on top of the plum composition, and under them we place the plum slices.
Bake the tart with plums and walnuts for 25-30 minutes, in the preheated oven at 180 degrees.
Let it cool, powder it with sugar and cut it in such a way that each portion contains a form of dough with a smile.
Baked plums with nuts and honey
Another very easy to prepare autumn dessert and a simple but effective combination. Plums are also a delight in autumn and we can use them both in food, but especially for desserts. This is more of a fad and an idea of what you can do if you have some plums around the house, some stray nuts and honey. I had fresh nuts from my mother, taken from a market in Tulcea. They traveled to Bucharest where I quickly found a use for them. I present it to you below.
(for 16 pieces)
8 whole sweet plums
16 walnut halves
16 teaspoons of honey
coconut flakes for decoration
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Wash the plums and cut them in half. Remove the seeds with your fingers, a small knife or a teaspoon.
For each piece of this dessert we need half a plum, half a walnut and approx. a teaspoon of honey.
Place the plums with the walnuts in an oven tray lined with baking paper.
Put the tray in the preheated oven at 200 degrees and keep the plums approx. 10-12 minutes. We are careful not to disintegrate because it will become very soft.
When they are ready, we place them on a plate and decorate with coconut flakes. We also pour a little honey if we want.
Dumplings with plums and nuts
Preparation time: 01:30 min
The cost of the ingredients for 7-8 servings: 30 Lei
Ingredient: 50 g ground nuts, 50 g whole nuts, 200 g flour, 1 kg potatoes, 1 kg plums, 100 g sugar, 4 eggs, 4-5 tablespoons semolina, 5-6 tablespoons breadcrumbs 70g, 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar
We invite you to watch below our video recipe for dumplings with plums and nuts:
Method of preparation: Wash well and boil the potatoes in their skins for about 30-40 minutes. In a pan, brown 50 g whole walnuts and then grind them finely. Mix the chopped walnuts with the breadcrumbs and brown sugar. After the potatoes have boiled, let them cool a bit and then they can be peeled. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Then mix with semolina, flour and sugar. From the obtained crust, flatten small amounts in the palm so that you can put a plum in the middle with a quarter of a walnut and a little sugar. Close the shell well and then boil it in boiling water. Let it boil for another 5-6 minutes after the dumplings rise to the surface. Roll the dumplings well in the breadcrumbs as soon as you have removed them from the boil. Serve hot with sour cream, yogurt or jam. We wish you good appetite and increase your cooking recipe for dumplings with plums and nuts.
Glazed biscuits with prunes (nuts)
step 1. Rub the boiled egg yolks with the butter, add the sour cream, flour and baking soda. Mix everything well. If it sticks to your hands, sprinkle some flour. The dough is left to cool for 2-3 hours.
step 2. The filling can be prepared in two ways: -boil in wine with sugar -plums are scalded with hot water. I chose the first option, using pitted prunes. Fry 2 walnuts in the oven. Fill the plums with walnuts. Put in a bowl and pour over them 2 glasses of red wine and a glass of sugar. Boil for about 20-25 minutes, cool and drain.
step 3. Spread the dough with the puff pastry in a thin sheet.
step 4. Cut circles. Wrap the plums in the dough circles and place them in the tray lined with baking paper, with the "knot" down.
step 5. Place in the preheated oven at 180 degrees, for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Careful! They brown quite quickly! Allow to cool.
step 6. Prepare the icing: -3 tablespoons cream -3 tablespoons sugar -70 g butter -3 tablespoons cocoa (the amount of cocoa can vary depending on the density of the icing) Put everything on low heat, stirring constantly, until melt the sugar without bringing it to a boil. When it has blended, add 3 tablespoons of cocoa (the amount of cocoa can vary depending on the density of the icing) and mix well. P.S. I usually make a double portion of glaze.
step 7. Soak the biscuits in the glaze and drain, then refrigerate until the icing hardens.
step 8. Because there were a lot of plums left, I melted 90 g of chocolate with 50 g of butter in a bain-marie and I "bathed" the plums in this composition. Allow to harden on a plate.
step 9. Or you can make a cream from 35% sweet cream and sugar to cover the nicely arranged plums in a bowl.
Summer is the fruit season and the dessert I propose to you, plum tart, will be a tasty and easy to prepare. You need: 300g flour, 150 g butter, 100g powdered sugar, for dough and 1 kg plums, 25 g almonds, 25 g nuts, 3 tablespoons semolina, 3 tablespoons sugar, 40 g butter.
The dough is prepared very simply: mix all the ingredients until you get a not very hard crust. Keep the dough cold for half an hour, during which time wash the plums, remove the seeds, and cut them into quarters or halves. Remove the dough from the fridge, and spread it on a plate on which you sprinkled flour. The dough must not be thin, so as not to break. When ready, take a special tart pan, grease the pan with butter and place the dough in the form. Sprinkle the semolina, add the plums, sprinkle with the walnuts and ground almonds. Put the sugar and the pieces of butter on them. If you still have dough, you can put narrow strips of dough on top.
Put the tart in the preheated oven and hold for about 40 minutes. Serve cold, and if you want you can powder it with powdered sugar.
right now I'm eating tart made according to the recipe above. it is delicious. I recommend it with confidence. good appetite)

Biscuit tart with plum and walnut jam
Today's recipe is from Cristina (MyBabyFood family) and is her first recipe on the blog and application. Cristina is wonderful, as is the dish she proposes today. we hope the tart recipe will be to your taste.
- 200 g flour 650
- 70 g cold butter (from the fridge)
- 1 small egg (keep a little and greased at the end before baking)
- optional 1-2 lg of water or cold milk, enough to bind the dough.
- Sugar-free plum jam & # 8211 the amount you choose, depending on how much filling you want
How I proceeded:
- I grated the cold butter over the flour and formed a sandy dough with my fingers. I then added the egg and 1 lg of water and formed a ball that I left in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- After I shaped the tart dough, I had a small round one. I kept some of the dough for the decoration above. I put the plum jam without sugar, the walnuts cut with a knife. I decorated with the rest of the dough and baked for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
- When cooled, I powdered with ground coconut flakes. Good appetite!"

Plum tart and walnut cream
What should be the authentic taste of autumn if not that of plums! What's more, the taste of walnuts also makes its place and an absolutely special and easy-to-make tart comes out. I propose that we enjoy the fact that we have healthy habits for everyone!
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients, then knead to form a ball of dough. Spread on the counter, which we put a little oil, then roll the dough on a rolling pin and put it in the pan. We press it well, prick it from place to place with a fork, then put a baking sheet on it.
- Place 1 cup of beans or rice on top of the baking sheet (the weight of these grains will prevent the dough from swelling). Bake the dough in the preheated oven at 200 ° for 15 minutes with the grains, remove the grains and bake for another 5 minutes. Remove the dough from the oven and let it cool (in the pan).
- Remove the plum seeds, then cut them into 4. In a large bowl, mix the plums with the spices, starch, salt and vanilla extract and set aside for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, spread the walnut cream over the tart dough, add the plums and bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and let the tart cool in the pan. We can serve the tart with a cup of vanilla ice cream.
Tart with nuts, hazelnuts, plums and grapesAuthorAncutsa Cuisine Difficulty Intermediate
A delicious tart like a late autumn sunset, with crispy dough, a cream consisting of aromatic nuts, cashews and hazelnuts, decorated with plums and grapes.
Method of preparation:
Put the flour, diced cold butter and a pinch of salt in a large bowl and mix and crush with your fingers or a kneading utensil. Add the sweetener, yolk and cold water to bind the dough (I needed 80 ml). You will get a crumbly dough, which you transfer to the top sprinkled with flour and knead just a little.
You can use a kneading utensil, so make sure you don't knead the dough too much.
Let it cool for half an hour.
Chop the walnuts and hazelnuts with a knife, then grind them in a coffee grinder to obtain a finer mixture.
Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt and sweetener. When the meringue is firm, add the rose flower water, mix and set aside.
Separately, rub the butter with the yolks.
This time, add ½ of the meringue, ½ of the amount of chopped walnuts and hazelnuts, then the rest of the meringue, the rest of the walnuts and hazelnuts. Mix lightly with a spatula to make sure you keep the composition airy and at the same time incorporate the meringue well. This time, you don't need flour, considering the proportion of nuts used.
Roll out the dough into a thin sheet and transfer it to a tart pan with baking paper, using a whisk. You remove the excess dough with a knife, you can make decorations from it, but this time, I kept it for another recipe.
Prick the dough, from place to place, with a fork.
Pour the walnut cream over the dough and level nicely.
Wash the plums and grapes, cut the plums into thin slices and arrange the fruit to taste.
Sprinkle with sugar for a nice shine.
Put the tray in the preheated oven, first for 30 minutes on low heat, to bake well inside (taking into account that I did not bake it blindly before, but completely), then 10 minutes on medium heat, to brown .
