Rice pudding with apples

Put the rice to boil in milk with sugar and a pinch of salt; after boiling and cooling, add the citrus peel and beaten egg;

Apples cut into small cubes, harden in butter with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar; after they have softened and the juice has evaporated, we pass the apples with a fork but not at all, so that the apple pieces remain, then we mix them with a handful of chopped candied fruits.

In the yena bowl greased with caramel cream (made or bought) or butter and put a layer of rice, a layer of apples and so on until finished, the last layer being rice. Over the last layer we put the slices of cleaned apples, sprinkled with the rest of the brown sugar and bake for 50 minutes on low heat.

Serve cold with fruit sauce.


200 g of rice
4 apples
2 tablespoons butter
100 g of currant jam
4 eggs
50 g sugar
1 vanilla essence
1 pinch of salt
milk

Wash the rice well and boil it in water or directly in milk. Peel the apples and remove the core. Grease four cups or higher bowls with butter, place the apples and fill with currant jam. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Mix the rice with the egg yolks, vanilla essence, sugar and beaten egg whites. Fill the cups with the rice mixture, leaving the apple tops uncovered and place in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

5-6 apples
7 tablespoons sugar
1 vanilla essence
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
500 g of cottage cheese
peel from half a lemon
4 eggs
raisins

Bring the milk to a boil with a pinch of salt. When it boils, add the well-washed and drained rice. Leave it on the fire until the rice boils, taking care to stir constantly so that it does not stick to the pot. Then add 4 tablespoons of sugar and leave to cool.
Place the apples on a large grater and sauté with three tablespoons of sugar. When they have softened, add the cinnamon and leave to cool.
Chilled rice was mixed with cheese, egg yolks, lemon peel, vanilla essence, vanilla sugar and raisins. If you find it not as sweet as you would like, you can add a little more sugar.
Beat the egg whites and incorporate them easily into the rice.
Grease a heat-resistant dish with butter and line with flour.
Pour half of the mixture with the rice, add the apples and then the rest of the rice.
Bake for about 40 minutes, until nicely browned.
