Baked eggplant with garlic sauce

Baked eggplant with garlic sauce. Eggplants can be prepared in many ways, not just in the form of eggplant salad. I like to use them in oven-cooked dishes, be they musaca (with or without meat), stuffed or even so, simple, browned with olive oil and sprinkled at the end with garlic sauce. The eggplants are very tasty and breaded, cut into slices and rolled in flour, egg and breadcrumbs and then fried in a pan.

Eggplants have a spongy texture that promotes the absorption of fats around them so they should be measured in moderation. I also like to make well-salted and peppered eggplant slices or cubes, rolled only in flour and then quickly fried in a pan. They are generally used in moussaka or pasta recipes (see eggplant bite with couscous or Norma pasta). I did another crazy job of filling one zucchini patison with an eggplant and a tomato, the latter being filled with mozzarella or placing eggplant slices as a lid on top some tomatoes stuffed with minced meat.

By cooking these eggplant pieces in the oven I can better control the amount of oil & # 8211 I sprinkle them with 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and ready (while in the pan must always be filled with oil, it is absorbed by the eggplant). These eggplant cubes with caramelized edges are so delicious that you just can't stop eating. If they are sprinkled at the end with a clove of garlic & # 8230. what can I say? Feast!

These baked eggplants can be eaten any day of Rina diet (see menus here)! More about the Rina Diet here.

I often cook them in this form and place them on the table as a garnish with a red steak (here pork breast steak recipe with potatoes) or grills. This time I made a juicy and crunchy pork breast steak, surrounded by golden potatoes. The steak was also accompanied by a salad of roasted peppers, sour and tasty, invigorated by the same garlic sauce.

Recipe Low Carb

The first forbidden meal cooked this year. It was the weekend treat and the reward for almost 3 weeks of low-carb and intensive sports. And because we do not throw ourselves directly into sweets, we limit ourselves to a variant that allows us to eat a little calm and relaxed, although that little devil in our brain still does not give us peace. Once the idea popped into his head, he didn't give us peace until we got to the kitchen. These American pancakes can be cooked with almost anything, you can use almost any kind of topping, they can be sweet or salty, bitter, sour or whatever other tastes come to mind.

For a fixed 8 pieces I used something like this:

& # 8211 salt and pepper to everyone's liking

Asaaaa & # 8230 I separated the yolks from the egg whites, I mixed each one with a pinch of salt. Over the yolks I added the milk and flour and I mixed the cheese and the ham and mixed again (with my hand this time) and at the end I added the egg whites and mixed more slowly so as not to make it powdery.

I took a multi-purpose pan and brushed it with a cure of oil and put the composition with the polish. It's just like pancakes, except that this composition is a bit thicker. It stays on each side for about 2-3 minutes, but don't sit next to you now for each one. You turn them over whenever you think it's necessary until it's done & on this occasion you also have the opportunity to do some juggling with them on the ceiling or on the walls by throwing them up, but it's a shame that few come out anyway.

Of carbohydrates, let me say that it goes directly to AREA 51 anyway, but let's still count them so that we know how much we eat at once: we have about 80 from flour, about 15 from milk, so let's say about 100 carbs all 8 which means about 12-15 per serving. I tell you from reliable sources that they eat at least 2 times after which you go and run 2 times more to wipe the stain off the brain.

BTW, I don't encourage eating the forbidden ones, especially since the last 3 recipes were only with these, but sometimes we also have cravings that are hard to control.
