Prepare the minced meat filling first. Heat the oil and add the minced meat sprinkled with salt beforehand and mix intensely to prepare the meat evenly. Add the vegetables and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Add the spices and match the taste of salt. Allow the mixture to cool. After it has cooled, add the beaten egg + egg whites and mix well.
For the dough, mix the egg with a pinch of salt in a bowl, then add the cream. Then add the cold butter, spices, baking powder and flour and quickly knead a compact dough, not very firm, but not sticky, wrap in cling film and leave to cool for 20-30 minutes.
Spread the dough in the baking tray and cover its walls, prick from place to place and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Stop 1/3 of the dough to decorate the tart.
Pour the meat composition over the dough. Cut the excess dough and bring the edges over the meat composition.
Roll out the rest of the dough into a thin sheet and cut out heart shapes (or other shapes) and apply over the meat composition, then grease the hearts with egg yolk, sprinkle sesame seeds on top and put the tart in the oven for 50 minutes at 180 degrees.
Allow the tart to cool slightly and portion, then serve.
CHOPPED MEAT DOUBLE AND COW / CHEESE CHEESE
Lamb fillet is a traditional Romanian food, which is cooked for Easter. As far as we know, however, the liver can be prepared from other types of meat (beef, chicken, pork). Today I propose an Italian-style drob. Yes, the liver is also cooked in Italy, where it is called & # 8222polpettone & # 8221 and can be cooked any day of the year. The recipe I propose to you today is one of minced beef and pork plus ricotta (or cottage cheese, a drier one, in case it counts it will eliminate a lot of liquid and will create baking problems). All this beauty will be & # 8222closed & # 8221 in puff pastry. So let's get started.
INGREDIENT: ESTIMATED TIME & # 8211 10 min + 60 min
mixed minced meat (pork + beef) & # 8211 200 gr
ricotta (cow cheese) & # 8211 200 gr
grated bark from 1 lemon
puff pastry dough & # 8211 300 gr
eggs & # 8211 2 pcs.
butter & # 8211 10 gr
Mix the minced meat with ricotta, finely chopped sage and rosemary, beaten eggs, grated lemon peel, salt and pepper.
Grease with butter a form for plum-cake (20cmX8cm), cut a rectangle from the puff pastry with the right sizes to wallpaper our shape (see image). Put the meat filling over the dough, level it well and join the sides of the puff pastry, to close the dough well. If desired, we can cut some surface decorations from the remaining dough.
Grease the dough with milk and put it in the preheated oven (200 degrees) for 30 minutes, then lower the temperature to 150-160 degrees, cover the form with a foil and keep in the oven for another 30-40 minutes. Remove from the oven, let it cool, then put the dough on a plate, cut it into slices and serve (hot or cold, as you like).
