Buchteln dessert or donuts stuffed with Nutella, in the oven

Put a little warm milk, 1 tablespoon of sugar and yeast in a bowl. Stir and let rise for 15 minutes.

Add over the flour, mix gently, then incorporate the other ingredients in turn: egg yolks, milk, sugar, melted butter, essence and do not forget the salt powder.

Knead until all the ingredients are well incorporated and the dough comes off easily from the edges of the bowl. If the dough requires it, add a little more flour.

Cover the bowl with a clean towel and leave to rise for an hour.

Divide the dough into two pieces and spread them one by one, with the rolling pin, on the floured worktop, then cut out circles with a stainless steel ring or a glass with a larger mouth (so that the filling fits in each donut formed and does not you struggle to stick, without dripping the filling).

Line the tray / trays with butter in which you will bake the donuts.

Put a teaspoon of Nutella on each circle (or make fruit if you prefer), seal the edges well and gather the glue trying to form a donut. Round it a little more in the palms and put it in the tray with the solder down.

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and let the donuts (buchteln) rise for about 30 minutes. Grease them with butter or egg yolk, then put the trays in the oven for 40 minutes.

If you don't want it to brown too much, cover the trays with baking paper towards the end.

When the donuts are slightly browned, remove the trays from the oven. After they have cooled down a little, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
