Tomato appetizer with cheese

Something easy, fast and delicious!

RECIPE PREPARATION Tomato appetizer with cheese:

The tomatoes are washed, wiped and cleaned on the inside, and the core is enjoyed with gusto! :))) I found in the market the most delicious tomatoes I have eaten in recent years!

The cream cheese is mixed with the yogurt. Chop the pepper in a blender together with the green onion and mix with the cream cheese and yogurt, then add the chopped dill and adjust the salt taste.

We fill the tomatoes and decorate them according to inspiration, I put the caps of cucumber, tomato and pepper and a sprig of dill and parsley

I put the cream cheese in the bowl and on top I grated the beef tenderloin (on the fine side of the grater), I put the soft butter, the finely chopped onion and the finely chopped dill, as well as the garlic. I mixed everything until the cheese paste was made.

I had two more tomatoes in the fridge, I cut them into slices, and with the help of the decorating spirit I made the carnations on the tomato slices. I garnished it with half olives stuffed with hot peppers and the appetizer was ready.

It all lasted 15 minutes.
Another 15 minutes of green bean salad and when our friends came to us, the appetizers were ready. Luckily, I baked the morning bread. And like any ad-hoc party, something unforgettable came out.


Ingredients Pancakes with cheese and baked dill:

  • 8 thin pancakes, prepared after simple pancake recipe (click on the recipe link, but without adding sugar and vanilla / lemon flavors)
  • 500 grams of cheese or 350 grams if you also add grated zucchini (you can use cottage cheese or a mixture of grated telemea and cottage cheese, as long as it is moderately salty composition)
  • 1 or
  • optionally, 1 bunch of green onions cut into thin slices, only the white and light green side
  • optional, a small zucchini (200 grams)
  • 1 bunch of dill
  • 100 grams of cream for cooking
  • 30 grams of butter
  • 2 tablespoons grated cheese or other gratin cheese
  • salt and pepper

Preparation Pancakes with cheese and dill in the oven:

1. Prepare thin pancakes, to which you should not in any way add sugar or specific flavors to the sweets (vanilla, lemon). from simple pancake recipe, if you prepare the whole amount, you will get more pancakes than you need for this recipe, but you can fill them with anything else (or you can prepare the recipe using only half of the recommended ingredients).

2. Switch on the oven and set it at 180 ° C. If you use zucchini, it must be washed very well. He squirms and shaves on the grater with big holes. Lightly salt and place in a strainer to remove from the liquid.

3. Put the 500 grams of cheese and 350 grams, respectively, in a bowl, if you also use the zucchini. Add the whole egg, finely chopped dill, finely chopped green onion (if using) and grated zucchini well squeezed with water. Mix everything evenly. Match the taste of salt and pepper. If you have used a mixture of cottage cheese and telemea you will probably not need salt.

4. Place a spoonful of filling on each pancake and distribute evenly.

5. Pack the filled pancakes as desired. I packed these pancakes with cheese and dill simply in four, because there is no danger of the filling leaking from them in the oven, but they can just as well be packed as thicker sarmale or simply rolled.


6. Grease with a thin layer of butter a gratin shape of the right size (about 35 & # 21517 cm has the shape I used). It nicely arranges our pancakes with cheese and dill. Sprinkle with sour cream and spread the remaining butter on top.

7. Place the pancakes in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes. During this time they will completely absorb the cream and butter from the mold and will become very tender. Sprinkle grated cheese on top (drier mozzarella, parmesan, even a stronger telemea can be used). Put the pancakes in the oven for another 5-6 minutes, preferably setting the oven on a gratin function (if possible) or on the grill function.

8. After the cheese sprinkled on the surface is lightly browned, remove the form with the pancakes from the oven and after 5-10 minutes can be served. If desired, these pancakes with cheese and dill can be sprinkled with a little cream on the plate. I wish you good work and great appetite!

  • 5-6 tomatoes well ripened
  • 300 gr feta cheese or telemea
  • 2 Bulgarian peppers, semi-cooked
  • oregano
  • olive oil

We peel the tomatoes, by the classic method of immersing them in hot water, after we have slightly cut them in advance. When the tomatoes have cooled, we peel them very easily. Cut the tomatoes into rounds about 0.5 cm thick. In a tray, saucepan, dish of embarrassment or ceramic, form a bed of tomato slices that completely cover the bottom of the tray. We accompany this first layer of tomatoes with a Bulgarian pepper, cleaned of seeds and cut into rounds. Over this bed of tomatoes and peppers we place a layer of thin slices of cheese (more successful or unsuccessful, in the end it doesn't matter if the cheese is still crushed).

Over the slices of cheese (I used goat-sheep cheese mixture) arrange a new layer of well-ripened tomato slices. Add the second Bulgarian pepper, also cleaned of seeds and cut into rounds. Finally, we complete our work with 3-4 slices of cheese, attractively placed on top. Sprinkle plenty of oregano, a flavor that gives the imprint of Mediterranean cuisine, and sprinkle with two tablespoons of olive oil. Put the dish in the oven for about 30 minutes, until the kitchen is full of flavor. These cheese tomatoes are very tasty, whether eaten hot or cold, with fresh bread.

Buuun! But I, focusing more on lacto-vegetarian dishes, would put mushrooms instead of ham. That's for me. For guests it is of course ok with ham or turkey ham.

Countertop:

The egg yolks are combined with 100 gr. sour cream in a bowl.

Beat the yolks well with the cream until smooth. The flour is mixed with the baking powder and the egg whites are beaten hard with salt. Add over sour cream and egg yolks flour and egg whites.

Homogenize the composition with movements from bottom to top, then pour and level in a tray covered with baking paper.

The tomato is boiled for 30 seconds in boiled water, peeled and the seeds and the juicy part are removed. The remaining pulp is cut into small cubes and drained. If you use pickled donut, drain the juice well and cut it into cubes

The cooled top is opened, greased with cream cheese and ham and sprinkled with well drained tomato cubes:

Roll tightly and wrap in cling film.
