Today I propose a simple and quick dessert, now that the baby demands me to the maximum and I don't have much time to sit in the kitchen. Puff pastry cut into strips and rolled on some conical shapes and vanilla cream.
- 400 g puff pastry
- 4 eggs
- 180 g sugar
- 500 ml of milk
- 80 g flour
- 2 sachets of vanilla sugar or 1 vanilla bean
Preparation time: less than 15 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Vanilla cream rolls:
The puff pastry is cut into strips about the thickness of a finger and rolled on shapes greased with a little oil. Bake the rolls for about 25 minutes until they start to turn slightly golden. They are then carefully detached (they are quite fragile) and allowed to cool.
For the cream, boil the milk with the vanilla pod. Beat the eggs with the sugar and flour until they froth. Pour the hot milk over the eggs, mix well, then boil the cream until it thickens like a pudding. Allow the cream to cool, then put in a posh and fill the rolls. Then put in the fridge for 2 hours, then powder with sugar and serve.
